What do I get in the export?

Where can I host the downloaded website?
You can use most static hosting providers, provided you have the right to redeploy the site and its assets. Standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can run on Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, AWS S3, or a conventional web host. You can also open the files locally.
What does not move with the website?
The ZIP contains the public static website. CMS database editing, forms, accounts, ecommerce, analytics, user data, and other private services stay with Squarespace.
